By creating an account or using Gnos ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Gnos. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Gnos to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, or that infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service for high-risk decisions (medical, legal, financial) without independent professional verification.

4. AI output disclaimer

Gnos's responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date — even when a high confidence score is shown. Always verify important information using the cited sources or independent expertise. You are solely responsible for how you use the output.

5. Therapy mode

Therapy mode is a supportive AI tool, not a substitute for a licensed mental health professional. Do not rely on it for diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

6. Intellectual property

You retain rights to the content you input. You grant us a limited license to process that content to provide the Service. The Service itself, including the Gnos name and logo, is owned by us.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or the Service.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
